WE ARE PROUD STOCKISTS

  • Origins: The company was founded by two self-taught artists from Manchester, Geoff Kayson and Trevor Phillipson, who were living in Leicester in 1977. They began making punk "anti-jewellery" and selling it to local shops and at gigs.
  • Expansion: As demand grew, they expanded their work to create detailed pewter jewelry, including gothic and rock-themed designs. This led to creating merchandise for bands and eventually growing into a small company.
  • Renaming: While initially operating under names like "Poker" and "Rieder Design," the company rebranded to "Alchemy Metal-Wear" in 1984. By 1995, recognizing the large gothic following, it was renamed "Alchemy Gothic," a brand that would become globally recognized.
